Home Therapy Shop

Many people assume that therapy is only needed after something terrible has happened, or as a last resort.

However, this couldn’t be further from the truth: therapy should be seen as just as much a part of your life as brushing your teeth and going to work.

Many people do not go for therapy simply because they don’t know how it can help them, or think that it’s too expensive, or too difficult to manage with their busy schedules. But like brushing your teeth and going to work (which I’m sure you’d agree are important), there are plenty of ways to incorporate therapy into your daily routine; namely practicing self-care at home.

Self-care at home needs to take many forms – whether it’s taking 30 minutes out of your schedule to do your therapy or going for a walk in the park, anything that promotes your own physical and mental well-being is an important part of self-care.

While there are many physical therapy treatments that require the personal care of a therapist, you will also get “homework” to do on your own to help continue the healing.

But therapy can require some special equipment. Don’t worry though. Rather than searching the internet, many specialty equipment items can be purchased from the home therapy shop at Bone and Joint Specialists Physical Therapy after your session.
