Laurie has spent her professional career caring for athletic injuries.  She began as an Athletic Trainer, treating players and teams from the sidelines.  She trained at both Penn State and WVU, and then worked for 15 years as a certified athletic trainer and professor of athletic training at Ithaca College.   She wanted to deepen her involvement in the treatment of injured athletes and returned to a Master’s program at Northeastern University in Boston in 2005.  Since then she has been assisting physicians in the clinic and operating room for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.  She joined Bone and Joint Specialists of Winchester in 2010 and has played a key part in our ORTHO-NOW clinic as well as the coordination of care for injured athletes in the area.
